Certification for membership

Members can request a membership certification letter from GS1 Thailand to present to customers or relevant organizations by filling out the certification request form and sending it to info@gs1thailand.org.

The certification will be issued only to members who maintain their active membership status and have no outstanding membership fees.

Certification Letter for GTIN or GCP Usage for Exporting Products to China

As per the regulations set by GS1 China, exporters sending products to China may be required to provide a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) certification upon request from their trading partners. Your trading partners may refer to this process as GTIN Authorization, GTIN Registration, or GTIN Filing—all of which relate to GS1 China’s (The China Item Coding Center) verification process to confirm the authorization of your GTIN usage. In some cases, you may also be asked to provide a GCP (GS1 Company Prefix) authorization letter by your Chinese trading partners.

Note: A Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) can only be assigned to a single product following the GTIN allocation rules.

Steps for Certificate Letter for Membership of GTIN

1. Register Your Products in the GS1 Member Portal -

To access the Member Portal, click here to log in and register your products.

GS1 Thailand Membership Certificate or GTIN-Specific Membership Certificate can be obtained by downloading the form.

3. Make Payment and Submit Proof (If Applicable)

Pay the required fee as specified. Send proof of payment to

info@gs1thailand.org

Verify and consider

The GS1 staff will review the submitted information and documents. The processing time will be within 5 business days.

Certificate receipt

Receive the document via email (PDF file).
